SAN DIEGO — Cook + Schmid, a full-service public relations, marketing and advertising agency, has been chosen by iconic San Diego Bay restaurants Bali Hai and Tom Ham’s Lighthouse to provide on-going public relations and marketing services. The agency will be responsible for social media management, event promotion, community outreach, media relations and digital branding for both restaurants.
Bali Hai is celebrating its sixtieth anniversary this year and will enlist Cook + Schmid’s expertise in strategically planning and implementing celebratory events. Its “brother” restaurant, Tom Ham’s Lighthouse, recently underwent a $5.3 million renovation this past year and is emerging as a Bayfront hotspot for fresh, local seafood and craft beer.
Bali Hai and Tom Ham’s Lighthouse are owned by Larry and Susie Baumann, and managed by their sons Tommy, Andy and Grant Baumann. Susie is the granddaughter of Tom Ham, original founder of both restaurants, making the eateries a truly family-owned business.
