Cook + Schmid Welcomes Recent SDSU Graduate Emily Anderson to Team
SAN DIEGO – Cook + Schmid announced that the agency has hired Emily Anderson as a full-time public relations intern to work on client accounts.
“Emily is an ambitious public relations professional and we are confident she will prove to be a valuable member of our team,” said Jon Schmid, managing partner of Cook + Schmid.
Prior to Cook + Schmid, Anderson was an intern with Scatena Daniels Communications, a local public relations agency, where she generated coverage for several nonprofit clients and provided general account support.
Anderson graduated summa cum laude and was named the outstanding graduate in public relations for her May 2011 graduating class. As part of SDSU’s Educational Opportunity Program, she tutored other students in public relations and writing course work.
