Environmental Consultant, SCS Engineers, Provides Superior Work
to Imperial Valley
SAN DIEGO, Calif.—SCS Engineers has completed several environmental consulting and contracting assignments in Imperial Valley before and since opening their office in El Centro, California.
Most recently, SCS completed an assessment for Materra, LLC. in support of a 345-acre property transaction in Westmorland, California. At the El Centro Regional Medical Center Clinic on 4th Avenue in El Centro, SCS completed environmental remediation services. In Calexico, SCS has provided landfill engineering services for the County of Imperial Public Works Department.
The El Centro office of SCS provides a local resource to Imperial Valley for professional engineering and environmental consulting services. “We have expanded our operations into Imperial Valley to better serve our clients in that region,” said SCS Senior Vice President and California Operations Director Mark Beizer, P.E. “We have a long track record of successful projects, and we will continue to provide outstanding service to clients in the region.”
The SCS office is co-located with The Holt Group at 1601 N. Imperial Avenue in El Centro, California. Leasing space from The Holt Group provides support to an Imperial Valley based firm and enables SCS and The Holt Group to efficiently combine their expertise and enhance service to both firms’ client base.
Overseeing operations at the new office is Ryan Marcos, SCS’s National Partner for Due Diligence. Mr. Marcos has been working in the Imperial Valley for over six years and saw the increasing need for a locally based environmental consulting firm. He is leading efforts to provide environmental consulting services that includes environmental site assessments; remediation planning, design, and construction; storm water management; environmental management; water resources; and brownfield redevelopment.
