ELEMENTAL EXPERIENCE TICKETS MOVING FAST
May 2 Fundraiser Features Full Eco-Friendly Day of Music With Matisyahu, Mason Jennings, Pinback, Bassnectar and More
SAN DIEGO, CA – Music fans, homeless advocates, green scenesters and ordinary San Diegans of all ages looking for a new way to make a difference have just under a month to purchase tickets for The Elemental Experience, an entertaining experiment in Philanthropy 2.0 that hits San Diego’s Mission Bay on May 2.
Stay Classy, San Diego’s 10,000-member philanthropic social network, has finalized the lineup of bands for its Elemental Experience and the stars really have aligned. The fund-raising goal is $500,000 and with acts like Matisyahu on the bill it’s clear that Stay Classy is pulling out all the stops for this great cause. Other killer acts include Mason Jennings, Bassnectar, Pinback, Dirty Sweet, Pete and J, Jay Nash and local/regional DJs spinning all day on the 2nd stage. This promises to be an incredible day of art, music and charity. To learn more about cause that the Elemental Experience is supporting, view this video: http://www.vimeo.com/3786598.
Tickets for this limited-venue event are available at www.stayclassy.org/elemental for $45 prior to May 2. Tickets will be sold at the door for $50, subject to availability. Learn about Elemental VIP packages and sponsorships at the Stay Classy Web site.
The Saturday May 2 music festival is part of Stay Classy’s yearlong effort to raise awareness of the plight of homeless youths in San Diego. Proceeds from the event will be used to build a solar-powered youth homeless shelter. More than a music festival, the Elemental Experience features a pre-show fund-raiser walk along Mission Bay, a hosted breakfast for fund-raisers and 10 hours of live music. Staging, sound and lighting for the event will be powered by the sun. Gas-powered generators, single-use plastics, Styrofoam and other environmentally harmful materials will be banned from the site. Elemental ticket-holders can use green shuttle services and recycle materials at special stations throughout the De Anza Cove festival site.
