November Client News

This past weekend my seven-year-old daughter, Alice, and I, spent the morning at the Ocean Discovery Institute’s (ODI) “Watershed Avengers”  event learning about the ecosystem of our local canyons and planting native plants in Swan Canyon in City Heights. This was a youth-led habitat restoration project aimed at mobilizing community members to take an active role in the health of their community. It was inspiring to see so many people of all ages out on a beautiful morning to give mother nature a hand!

The event focused on transforming Swan Canyon into a safe and healthy place for youth to learn, play and explore. These efforts also help achieve environmental stability and improve the quality of life in the neighborhood.
