SAN DIEGO (April 14, 2008) —Mission of organization: Rebuilding is a local nonprofit, and affiliate of the nation’s largest volunteer organization whose mission is to renovate homes and preserve affordable home ownership for low-income families, seniors and the disabled through our home renovation program.

Milestone: Over the past 12 years, we have revitalized homes, neighborhoods and lives throughout San Diego, completing over 300 projects and investing more than $6.5 million dollars in market value into our community.

Expense allocation: 82 percent of our budget is spent on programs, 18 percent on administration.
